Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BlockHub52 website at blockhub52.co.uk and the BlockHub52 software service. Please read them carefully before using the service.

By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service, Free Trial and Subscription

BlockHub52 is a software service that helps directors of Right to Manage (RTM) companies and Residents' Management Companies (RMCs) self-manage residential blocks in England and Wales.

Free trial. Your building receives a 45-day free trial with full access to the plan you have chosen. The trial begins when your setup session ends. We do not collect payment card details to start the trial, and you are not charged at any point during it.
Subscription and payment. Your subscription does not begin automatically. Before your free trial ends, we will email you a reminder with a link to pay. If you choose to subscribe, your payment details are taken at that point and your subscription is billed in advance at our then-current pricing, as set out on our website. If you choose not to subscribe, your account moves to read-only access — your records remain viewable and downloadable. We may change our prices from time to time and will give you reasonable notice before any change affects you. You can cancel at any time — see section 9.
Service changes. The service is provided "as is" and may be changed, updated, or improved over time. We may add, remove, or modify features.
Private testing. From time to time we may invite selected users to test new or pre-release features privately. Any such arrangement is agreed separately and may be subject to additional terms.

2. Eligibility

BlockHub52 is designed for directors of Right to Manage (RTM) companies and Residents' Management Companies (RMCs) managing residential leasehold blocks in England and Wales. By using the service, you confirm that you are using it in a professional capacity related to block management.

3. Your Account and Responsibilities

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
All activity that occurs under your account
Ensuring that any data you upload or enter is accurate and that you have the right to use it
Complying with all applicable laws, including data protection law, when using the service

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BlockHub52 to:

Upload or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the software
Use the service for any purpose other than the legitimate management of your residential block

5. Data You Upload

You retain ownership of all data you upload to BlockHub52. By uploading data, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will not access your data except as necessary to provide support or as required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle personal data.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, content, and materials on the BlockHub52 website and application are owned by or licensed to BlockHub52. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our service without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

BlockHub52 is a tool to assist with block management administration. It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You remain responsible for all decisions made in connection with the management of your building.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockHub52 shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of the service, including any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Availability

We aim to make BlockHub52 available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

9. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription or stop using BlockHub52 at any time by contacting us at team@blockhub52.co.uk. If you cancel a paid subscription, your access remains active until the end of your current billing period and is not renewed thereafter. We do not provide refunds for part-used billing periods.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the service. On termination, your data remains accessible for 30 days so you can export it, after which it is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
